Spiritual healing is a central promise of the gospel. The Savior declared, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Turning to the Savior in times of trial brings a peace that surpasses understanding and a healing balm for our souls.
The gospel invites us to embrace emotional wholeness. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland taught, "Hope is never lost. However dim our days may seem, they have been a lot darker for the Savior of the world." We can find hope and healing in Christ, allowing Him to mend our broken hearts and restore our emotional well-being.
Service and connection with others are powerful agents of healing. By actively engaging in the service of others, we participate in the healing process, both for ourselves and those we serve.
